(MY JOURNEY)
I design like I used to teach, with clarity, structure, and a deep respect for the person on the other side. Before UX, I stood in front of classrooms helping students make sense of language. Now I work behind Figma files helping people make sense of digital spaces. The tools are different, but the goal is the same: connect, simplify, and empower.
My path into product design was not a straight line. I didn’t grow up sketching wireframes or dreaming of interfaces. I found design by asking one question over and over again: why do some digital experiences feel so effortless while others leave people frustrated or lost? That question led me through the Google UX Design Certificate, the UCLA Extension program, and hands-on projects across healthcare, education, and emerging tools. Along the way, I learned that good design starts with listening, and great design starts with caring.
I am drawn to projects with depth, especially those that affect real lives. I think carefully, design quickly, and approach every screen with purpose. Whether I am building for parents, patients, or professionals, I want every interaction to feel considered, clear, and quietly powerful.
